Claudia St. John, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, PRESIDENT

Claudia St. John is president of Affinity HR Group, is an author and an HR professional with more than 20 years' experience in human resources. Prior to forming Affinity HR Group, Claudia served as senior consultant for Mercer Human Resources Consulting, the nation’s top HR consulting firm, in Washington DC and Geneva Switzerland, Vice President for People for POMCO Group, Manager of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s National Labor Office and Senior Policy Associate for the AFL-CIO.

In addition to managing the operations of Affinity HR Group, Claudia is an author of Transforming Teams - Tips for Improving Collaboration and Building Trust. (check out her book) She is a frequent and popular public speaker, is quoted often in national and industry press, and is a regular contributor to numerous print and electronic publications on the topic of human resources. Her professional passion is in teaching teams about behavioral styles, conflict resolution, and collaboration.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The American University and her Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications. She also holds the following behavioral science certifications: Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA); Certified Professional Values Analyst (CPVA); Certified Professional EQ Analyst (CPEQA), and Certified Professional TriMetrix Analyst (CPTA).

Sallie Biittner

Sallie Biittner's career experience includes 24 years of HR leadership with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company where she provided HR expertise and coaching to senior executives and managers. She played a leading role in development of a new sector of the company’s pharmaceutical business. Sallie led programs ranging from a major recruitment campaign for technical talent, to re-alignment of structures and processes to support the new business. She led and facilitated teambuilding, strategic planning, leadership development, succession planning programs, as well as numerous re-structuring initiatives.
 
Prior to BMS Sallie was a dean of students in the higher education environment where she engaged students of all ages and stages as she developed a comprehensive Student Development function. Sallie is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and she holds an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an Ed. M. in Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a B.A in psychology from Baldwin Wallace College.

STACI BLOOMBERG, HUMAN RESOUCES CONSULTANT

Staci Bloomberg has over a decade of experience as an HR professional and a strong legal background. She has experience working with global, national and small businesses across many industries including healthcare and technology. Her areas of expertise include compliance, policy development, employee relations, complaint investigation, change management, process improvement, and recruitment.
 
Staci has a BS in Public Affairs from Indiana University and obtained her JD from the Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. Staci is based in western Montana.

SUSAN PALÉ, CCP

Susan Palé has extensive experience in the development of customized compensation, performance management, and total rewards programs. She has worked as an independent consultant for 14 years creating programs designed for small and mid-sized businesses in such diverse industries such as manufacturing, technology, financial services, and healthcare. Programs and services offered include market pricing for specific positions, incentive plan design, and design and implementation of salary structures and performance management systems.
 
Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Susan served as the Director of Compensation and Benefits and Assistant Vice President for Human Resources for a large financial services organization. She is recognized as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) by World at Work (formerly the American Compensation Association).

LISA RITCHIE, Vice President, Recruiting & Talent Selection

Lisa Ritchie has over 15 years experience in recruiting, sales and management. She spent over 13 years in the staffing industry, holding such positions as Staff Recruiter, Sales Manager, and Branch Manager. During her tenure as Branch Manager for Adecco, a global outplacement and temporary staffing agency, she led recruiting efforts for companies of all shapes and sizes, including large financial institutions and regional call center operations facilities. Having also been a small business owner, Lisa understands the unique staffing and recruitment issues faced by small businesses.
 
Lisa holds at BBA from James Madison University and is based in Richmond, Virginia.

MARY BETH KUHN

Mary Beth has nearly 15 years experience in HR related fields and specializes in sourcing, headhunting and placing candidates for Affinity HR Group Clients.  Mary Beth began her recruiting career working as a Headhunter with Management Recruiters International, was an Internal Recruiter for First Consulting Group and worked in HR for Goodwill Industries.   Her unique background in sourcing and headhunting makes her a valuable resource for Affinity’s clients needing to fill niche positions within their organizations.

Mary Beth earned BA in Corporate Journalism from Auburn University and is based out of Cazenovia, NY.

Paige L. McAllister, SPHR

Paige McAllister has nearly 15 years of HR experience both as in external and internal HR roles with a focus on compliance, employee relations, training and HR strategic initiatives. As an HR Manager at McGladrey, she worked with the partners and managers on matters involving recruiting, discipline, terminations, and legal requirements as well as assisting employees with issues such as on-boarding, leaves of absence, and reimbursement/benefit availability. During her 7 years with Oasis Outsourcing, Paige assisted thousands of clients of all sizes in different industries across all 50 states.

Paige earned her MBA in General Business from Florida Atlantic University and her BA in Psychology from Auburn University. Paige has held her SPHR certification since January 2009, having previously held her PHR since June 2003.

JULIE LEE

Julie Lee has 15 years of leadership experience in business development and management roles with 8 years dedicated to the full cycle of the recruiting process. While working for a small, local staffing firm, she successfully recruited a variety of positions from technical roles to high level management. Since she has worked for major corporations and small companies, she understands that each business has unique needs. Her passion is in client support and recruiting. She is driven to understand the needs and culture of each client in order to find the best candidate who will not only meet objectives, but also be fulfilled in their role while serving the company well.

CHARLOTTE JENSEN, VICE PRESIDENT, HR COMPLIANCE

Charlotte Jensen, has been in the HR field for more than 20 years.  She, too, is one of Affinity HR Group’s founding consultants.  Her extensive experience with both large, publicly-held companies and small, privately-held companies across numerous industries makes her uniquely qualified to bring forward-thinking HR solutions to today’s business owner.  With a focus on smaller businesses, Ms. Jensen specializes in compliance, policy development, day-to-day employment issues, and HR administration.

 

Ms. Jensen holds a BA in English and a Masters’ in Education, both from Virginia Commonwealth University. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Jensen serves businesses across the country.

SUSAN GOLDBERG, VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Susan Goldberg is a strategic Marketing leader with over 15 years of experience in her field. She spent the first eleven years of her career in New York City working for retail giant, Macy’s, in buying and event marketing, and for The Walt Disney Company and ESPN Zone brands in an integrated marketing capacity. Upon her return to Arizona, Susan joined LifeLock, a national identity theft protection company where she helped manage crucial marketing activities during the transition from privately held company through IPO. Susan has also held Director of Marketing positions at PetSmart, a $7 billion retailer and The Joint Chiropractic, a small start-up.

Susan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from The University of Arizona.
